We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our culinary operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with expertise in meal preparation and food safety. As a Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly, maintaining high standards of food quality, and leading a team of kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Duties

Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food preparation. Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food handling, and safety protocols. Develop and implement menus that meet customer preferences while adhering to budget constraints. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and address any customer concerns related to food. Assist in meal preparation as needed, demonstrating cooking skills and techniques to the team.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role within the restaurant or food service industry. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices for food handling. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to lead a team effectively, fostering a positive work environment. Strong communication skills to interact with staff and customers effectively. Passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering high-quality meals.
