Are you highly organized, adaptable, and looking to support a dynamic small business behind the scenes and on the ground? Glooscap's Finest is seeking a Part-Time Assistant to help manage scheduling, communications, production support, errands, and product organization. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who thrives on staying organized and multitasking in a fast-paced, creative work environment.
Position Overview
As an Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting daily business operations, helping with everything from time management and communications to prepping products and keeping inventory systems up to date. This position requires reliability, professionalism, and a proactive mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Scheduling Support
Coordinate and maintain schedules, appointments, and task prioritization
Respond to calls, emails, and messages in a timely and professional manner
Assist with business-related communication and documentation
Help keep timelines on track for product launches, deliveries, and events
Operational & Logistical Tasks
Assist with prepping and organizing products for wholesale, markets, and deliveries
Label, package, and track outgoing product orders
Help maintain inventory records and restock materials as needed
Run errands or make deliveries as part of regular duties
Support workspace organization and cleanliness for smooth production flow
Organizational Efficiency
Develop or follow systems for time management, inventory tracking, and communications
Maintain tidy and accessible files (physical and digital)
Help plan and execute seasonal setups, events, and product drop-offs
What We're Looking For
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Clear, professional communication and strong interpersonal skills
Comfortable working in-person and taking initiative in a small business setting
Reliable and trustworthy with good time management
Comfortable using apps and tools for communication and scheduling
Conflict management and problem-solving skills are an asset
Having your own transportation is a major asset
Being local is strongly preferred due to the in-person nature of the job
