MUSKOKA BAY RESORT - ASSISTANT GOLF PROFESSIONAL

Reporting To: Director of Golf

Department: Golf Operations

Terms: Seasonal, Full-Time

Running from Mid-April to Late-October

Muskoka Bay Resort is looking for a highly motivated Assistant Golf Professional for the 2026 golf season, and beyond. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Golf Professional Team and be given an opportunity to develop professionally and overview a key aspect of our offerings at the club. Muskoka Bay Resort was ranked #21 in Canada by top100golfcourses and the #10 ranked public course in Ontario by ScoreGolf in 2025. 2026 marks an exciting year at Muskoka Bay Resort as we are celebrating our 20th anniversary and are opening a brand-new 88 room hotel (the second on property). Set to open in 2026.

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting directly to the Director of Golf, the successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:Providing best in class service to all members and guests Coordinate, support, and assist with daily golf operations, including all member and corporate events Supervise the outside golf services team daily, opportunity to assist in scheduling Be a key contributor and facilitator of our extensive teaching offerings at the Resort Assist with the implementation and monitoring of Golf Shop operations: merchandising, inventory controls, tee time management and accurate sales processing. Opportunity to lead the operations of a weekly league, corporate events, kids' camps, or inventory management, based on experience and competencies.

QUALIFICATIONS

Enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who takes initiative and responsibility Exceptional customer service skills A PGA of Canada member in good standing, or working towards membership Post-secondary education or Professional Golf Management designation, or working towards Computer literate Re: ERP systems, Word, Excel, Lightspeed, and Golf Genius Proven organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail Teaching experience considered an asset

COMPENSATION, PERKS & BENEFITS

Both hourly and weekly salary available.
