What You"ll Do:
As Assistant General Manager/Supervisor, you will affect the experience of both our team members and guests each time you interact with them. For us to create regulars out of each guest, consistency in quality, presentation, and service is essential for our people and our great food & beverages. It is our goal to ensure our guests have their expectations exceeded each and every time they walk through our door!
Your role as Assistant General Manager/Supervisor will allow you to share your People First! Attitude as well as coach and develop that same attitude with our Team Members. This role will require you to have a thorough knowledge of all aspects of restaurant operations including People Management, Financial Reporting & Interpretation, BOH Operations and FOH Management. We are seeking a leader to help us deliver on St. Louis"s promise to always deliver more than expected through extraordinary hospitality.
What You Bring:
Strong communications skills and ability to build strong working relations with a diverse work force.
Strength in event and party planning and fun activities that exude enjoyment within an active atmosphere.
3 years of working in a restaurant, with supervisory duties, with knowledge of both FOH and BOH operations.
Working knowledge of human resources principles and some financial literacy.
In This Role, You Will:
Order, receive and perform/oversee any other task-based actions that need to be completed for that shift.
Ensure that all staff are on time and in the correct presentable uniform.
Ensure the technical execution of all elements of the hospitality experience; serving piping hot food that looks exactly like the picture and to the specifications, delivered in a timely manner, with extraordinary hospitality.
Manage all labour over the course of each shift.
Touch every table in the dining room, ensuring we have exceeded guest expectations.
Oversee and ensure the cleanliness of both BOH and FOH areas of the restaurant.
Update, educate and confirm the participation of servers in any LTO or other promotions that are running.
Be responsible for all Discounts and Voids that are incurred during each shift.
Deal with all guest feedback in the moment and escalate if/when necessary.
Ensure that all local store marketing initiatives are executed in a timely manner.
Build shift schedules.
Understand the proper presentation for all menu items and be able to identify and redirect improper menu presentation. Understand the concepts behind menu engineering and plate profit as well as the effect that Menu Sales Mix can have on theoretical cost and how to run all relevant reports to evaluate.
Perform additional tasks as assigned.
