About the Role
We are currently seeking an
Assistant General
Manager
to lead front-of-house operations at
Polpette Pizza & Pasta
in Thornbury, ON. This hands-on role places you at the centre of the guest experience, supporting your team on the floor while ensuring smooth, polished service from start to finish.
You'll work closely with culinary and bar leadership, set service standards through example, and uphold the level of excellence Turner Hospitality Group is known for.
What You'll Do
Champion the Guest Experience:
Oversee daily operations with a strong focus on hospitality and service excellence
Lead From the Floor:
Recruit, train, coach, and support front-of-house team members
Create Lasting Impressions:
Ensure every guest interaction reflects warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail
Collaborate Across Teams:
Partner with kitchen and bar leaders to deliver seamless service
Maintain Standards:
Ensure health, safety, and cleanliness standards are consistently met
Support Performance:
Drive sales and service goals through engagement, teamwork, and operational awareness

What We're Looking For
Previous management experience in a full-service or upscale restaurant
A genuine passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
Strong understanding of service standards and restaurant operations
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to stay composed and solution-focused during busy service periods
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
