Overview

We're not your average bar --- and we're not looking for your average manager. Home and Away is a high-energy sports bar meets the late-night party. We need an Assistant General Manager who can keep the team motivated and guests coming back.

Duties

Assist the General Manager in managing daily operations and staff performance. Ensure high standards of customer service and satisfaction are consistently met. Oversee liquor inventory management, including ordering and stock control. Oversee schedules with a sales and detail-driven mindset. Train, mentor, and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance. Implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency. Analyze sales reports and operational data to identify areas for improvement. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.

Requirements

Proven experience in a management or supervisory role within the service industry. Strong leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Proficient in using management software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure and in the moment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
