Job Summary

The Assistant Director plays a vital role in supporting the overall operations of our educational program. This position involves collaborating with the Director to ensure a high-quality learning environment for children, particularly those with disabilities. The Assistant Director will be responsible for overseeing classroom activities, managing staff, and fostering positive relationships with families and the community.

Duties

Assist in the development and implementation of educational programs and curricula that meet the needs of all children. Supervise and support teaching staff in their daily activities, providing guidance and feedback. Ensure compliance with state regulations and organizational policies regarding early childhood education. Foster an inclusive environment by working closely with children with disabilities and adapting teaching methods accordingly. Maintain open communication with parents, caregivers, and community partners to promote engagement and support. Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and implement strategies to enhance learning outcomes. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Skills

Classroom experience is essential for understanding the dynamics of early childhood education. Strong background in working with people with disabilities to create an inclusive learning environment.
