Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Daycare professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment. This role involves engaging with children in various activities, fostering their development, and ensuring their well-being throughout the day.

Responsibilities

Supervise and monitor the safety of children in the daycare setting. Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development. Provide care and support to children, including assisting with meals, personal hygiene, and emotional needs. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all children. Document children's progress and maintain accurate records as required.

Skills

Experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is preferred. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Strong caregiving skills with the ability to nurture children's emotional and physical needs. Ability to create engaging classroom activities that educate while entertaining. Familiarity with working with persons with disabilities is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
