Position Summary
We're looking for a compassionate, energetic
Assistant Direct Support Professional
to join our team. This role directly supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to achieve greater independence, develop life and job skills, and engage meaningfully in their community.
Key Responsibilities
Program Support
Implement effective teaching and support strategies
Assist with participant assessments, evaluations, and onboarding
Support life skills development and job readiness
Monitor and assist participants across all program and production areas
Encourage safe practices and model appropriate workplace behaviors
Participant Support
Assist with personal care and nutritional needs
Supervise during breaks, meals, walks, and outings
Support participants during arrival and departure routines
Foster positive relationships and a welcoming environment
General Duties
Help with light housekeeping tasks
Complete other duties as assigned

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $19.53-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
