Responsibilities: Reporting to the Controller, you will be responsible for:
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with management to develop and monitor budgets, ensuring alignment with corporate goals. Provide insightful financial forecasts.
Cash Management: Oversee cash flow and liquidity management, optimizing working capital and minimizing financial risks.
Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate preparation of corporate tax returns and compliance with relevant tax regulations.
Audit Coordination: Facilitate and manage external audits, working closely with auditors to provide necessary documentation and address inquiries
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements, implement best practices, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the finance department
Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Professional accounting designation (CPA) is an asset
5-10+ years of progressive accounting experience
Advanced MS Excel user and experience with Sage300 is highly regarded
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
