Location:



You'll split your time between our Head Office in North Vancouver (2 days/week) and our Brymark Office in Port Coquitlam (3 days/week).

What You'll Be Doing

Accounting & Reporting

Support the Group Financial Controller in managing all finance-related activities. Oversee core accounting functions: A/P, A/R, payroll, general ledger, cost accounting, and cash management. Coordinate team responsibilities to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy. Manage job costing, job setup, and billing processes. Monitor daily cash flow and collections. Prepare financial statements and explain budget variances. Assist with year-end audits and prepare supporting documentation.

Leadership

Lead and support a team of 5 finance and admin professionals. Foster collaboration between Finance and Construction teams. Promote a culture of teamwork, coaching, and continuous improvement. Provide insight and leadership to help the business grow.

Operational Support

Identify opportunities to improve processes and add value. Recommend and implement new controls and efficiencies. Prepare reports and analysis for key stakeholders.

What You Bring

Qualifications

CPA designation. At least 3 years of experience supervising accounting staff. Experience in construction and unionized environments is a plus. Familiarity with Acumatica is an asset. Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, data analysis). Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
