Our Langley client is seeking a Assistant Controller to join the team.
Competitive salary ranging from $80,000-$90,000
Location: Langley, in-office position
Working closely with the Controller and other members of the finance team, you will assist in overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
Reporting to the Controller, you will:

Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets
Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and reconciliations
Process payroll for 100+ hourly employees
Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary
Participate in the development and implementation of internal controls and procedures
Support external audits and liaise with auditors as needed
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the finance team
Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency

The Successful Candidate:

Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred
3-5+ years progressive accounting experience in a similar role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
