Job Description

Reporting to Mathieu Giguere, the Controller & Director of Accounting at Dialogue, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance while effectively managing working capital. As a Divisional Financial Controller at Dialogue, you will be responsible for producing management accounts, supporting financial plans, and overseeing tax and statutory compliance.

What you\'ll be doing:

• Prepare timely and accurate management accounts, including reconciliations, and provide detailed explanations for any variations.
• Perform detailed financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning. Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for cost optimization, revenue growth, and operational efficiency.
• Manage working capital, credit control, and treasury activities to optimize cash flow and liquidity.
• Ensure compliance with all tax obligations, including income tax, VAT/GST, and payroll taxes. Coordinate with external tax advisors to prepare and submit tax filings accurately and timely.
• Prepare the payroll schedule and make sure payments are made in a timely manner
• Continuously improve financial systems, processes, and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Evaluate and implement new technologies to streamline financial operations.

We\'d love to hear from you if you have:

• Solid experience in a similar role within a mid-sized organization, with a proven track record of working with a Group Function.
• A hands-on mentality, able to handle diverse financial tasks and make independent decisions with sound judgment.
• Familiarity with subscription-based business models, Xero Financials, and prior experience with system changeovers are a plus.
• Bachelor\'s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA, CMA, CGA)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, accounting, or related roles, preferably in the subscription-based business models or health tech industry
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting standards (IFRS, GAAP)
• Proven track record in managing internal controls and ensuring compliance with industry-specific regulations
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis within the SaaS or health tech industry
