Bremic Carriers Inc. is an asset-based trucking company located in SE Calgary.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Controller to join our team.
This position would be best suited for someone seeking a career opportunity in business management. Training will be gradual in nature and will comprise of every aspect of the accounting department. There are currently 2 direct reports to further develop leadership skills.
All successful candidates will need to complete a formal interview process and a competency test.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field OR
Minimum 3 Years in Full Cycle Accounting
Intermediate Knowledge of Excel (Pivot tables, macros, forms, etc..)
Intermediate Knowledge of Office 365
Proficiency in accounting software (Sage 50) is highly desirable.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in English with strong communication skills to interact with various stakeholders within the organization
