Responsibilities
As the Assistant Centre Director, you will play a vital role in the success of our learning centre by:
Communicating with parents to provide progress updates and ensure student success.
Mentoring and supporting staff to maintain a high-quality instructional environment in a collaborative manner.
Managing daily operations, including student learning plans and centre logistics.
Creating a welcoming, positive atmosphere that fosters growth and confidence.
Assist the Director in developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve organizational objectives.
Educate staff on policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance performance and compliance.
Monitor program activities and outcomes, making adjustments as necessary to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Facilitate training sessions and professional development opportunities for team members.
Act as a liaison between staff and upper management, communicating important updates and feedback.
Requirements
Proven experience in a leadership role with strong management skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and inspire others.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
A commitment to continuous improvement and professional development within the organization.
Understanding of the Alberta curriculum and its changes
