Job Duties/Qualifications, Skills and Abilities(QSA)
Under the general direction of the Campus Store Coordinator, the position is reasonable for the following functions within the campus store.Procurement of materials.
Sales and marketing
Shipping, receiving and distribution of materials.
Inventory control.
Computer operating systems.
Customer service, public relations and promotion.
Assist in trainingorientation of campus store sales positions.

Duties
Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)
Certificate in marketing, business administration or a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Two years recent experience (two years in the last five years) in a college or university bookstore or other acceptable bookstore or two years recent retail environment that includes that includes
+ knowledge of the textbook publishing industry
+ knowledge of purchasing processes, return policies, shipping and transportation regulations
+ knowledge of retail operations and practices, inventory management, loss prevention and operational controls;
+ knowledge of a sophisticated point of sales system. Working knowledge of general accounting and financial management practices.
Effective interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
Skill organizing resources, establishing priorities and assisting with the development and implementation of new strategies and procedures.
Ability to use spreadsheets, database, email and word processing.
Ability to maintain accuracy while working under constant and strict deadlines.
Ability to lead, take initiative, motivate, coach, train and coordinate staff.
Demonstrates valuing diversity.
