Job Overview



We are seeking an experienced Assistant Building Manager to join our team and oversee the operations of a property in our portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills, a passion for creating vibrant communities, and a proven track record in property management. This role involves a combination of operational, and tenant satisfaction responsibilities to ensure a positive and enjoyable living experience for our residents.

the building and be available for

evening shifts

, 3 PM - 11 PM, Monday-Friday.

Key Responsibilities



Property Maintenance and Operations:



Assist with the day-to-day operations of residential and commercial properties. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with regulations. Coordinate and oversee repairs, maintenance, and service requests. Liaise with contractors and service providers to ensure timely and quality work.

Tenant Relations:



Act as a point of contact for tenants, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly and professionally. Assist with move-ins, move-outs, and tenant orientations. Enforce building policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner.

Administrative Duties:



Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, service requests, and property operations. Assist in preparing reports, budgets, and documentation as required. Support the Building Manager with lease administration and renewals.

Emergency Response:



Be available for on-call duties in case of emergencies, including evenings and weekends. Assist in coordinating emergency response plans and procedures.

Skills and Qualifications



Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in property management or a related field. Strong knowledge of property management principles and landlord-tenant laws (BC Tenancy Act). Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Familiarity with property management software and tools. Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Proactive problem solver with a positive attitude. Team player who can collaborate with colleagues and residents.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00-$62,000.00 per year
