We are looking for an Assistant Branch Manager for our Elk Point, Alberta branch.

Additional information:

• Compensation: $63,722 - $79,653 per annum
• Full-time position, 37.5 hours week; full-benefits
• Contract role for 6 months with consideration for permanent mobile support position when the contract ends.

As the Assistant Branch Manager, you primary goal is to empower, support, and develop your team You have a passion for leading people and can support your Financial Advisors and Member Service Representatives to understand our member\'s needs, therefore driving performance and success for the branch. You are an expert in the sales process and delivering progressive lending and investment services to our members.

More specifically, the scope of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Motivating and coaching employees to find opportunities to shape members financial fitness
• Being proactive in pursuing new business opportunities
• Monitoring and ensuring financial targets are being met or exceeded for the branch
• Promoting referrals to our Wealth Management, Business Banking, and 3rd party providers
• Adhering to policies, procedures, and loss prevention guidelines to mitigate risk of loss
• Providing support, guidance, and training to all employees as necessary to ensure performance improvement and cohesive teamwork
• Preparing accurate and complete documentation, processing account changes, and handling member inquiries in a timely and efficient manner

Requirements

To qualify, you will need at least 5 years of retail banking experience, along with a comprehensive understanding of retail lending.

Although not required, the following education/certificates are valuable assets:

• Post-secondary education in Finance (or related studies)
• Investment Funds in Canada Course & License (IFIC)
• Personal Financial Service Advice (PFSA)
• Financial Planning I (FP1)
