About this role:




Reporting to the Branch Manager,

the Assistant Branch Manager of

Burlington Memorial Gardens & Bayview Cemetery & Crematorium located in Burlington, Ontario,

will assist the Branch Manager with the day to day sales operations of the Sales Branch and will communicate and demonstrate knowledge of Arbor's goals and objectives to the sales team. In addition, the Assistant Branch Manager will back-up and support the needs of the branch in the Branch Manager's absence.


Our overall goal is to ensure that we create an environment that enhances the employee experience and ensures that in turn, our customers experience the best in class service. As the Assistant Branch Manager, you will have the opportunity to contribute towards this goal through exemplary leadership of the cemetery sales team.

This is a current vacancy, and we are actively recruiting to fill this position.

Key Qualifications and Demonstrated Abilities:



Minimum of two years of sales experience and have experience training new sales personnel. The successful candidate should be an action-oriented individual with the determination to achieve results and grow the sales results of the branch. The successful candidate should also be articulate, confident and well organized and want to be part of an exciting and highly operational team. Previous experience with technology in the workplace and knowledge of Arbor Information Systems (Arranger, FOCUS and CRM) are assets. Exemplifies Arbor's values of compassion, integrity, trust, teamwork and excellence. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; verbal, written and presentation skills. Hands-on experience hiring and training new sales employees. Excellent computer skills including all day to day knowledge requirements of MS Office 365. Responsibilities:



Achieving personal sales production as assigned by Regional Directors and Branch Managers. Assists Branch Managers with recruiting, orientation, training and development of staff and promoting a positive working environment. Assists Branch Managers with organizing the sales training program including the standard presentation use. Assists Branch Managers with regular meetings and providing motivation when necessary. Assists Branch Managers on compliance with the requirements of federal and provincial regulatory authorities.
