YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In this dynamic and exciting role, youll get to dig into a bit of everything. Heres what you can expect to experience as our Assistant Bookkeeper:

• Gain hands-on experience supporting the Bookkeeper with Sitings finances, including AR and AP operations, processing trade record sheets, facilitating monthly statements and reconciliations, and more!
• Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of financial statements, ensuring 100% accuracy in reports and compliance with accounting standards.
• Use QuickBooks to create and record accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Generate and analyze various financial reports using QuickBooks and Excel to provide insights on financial performance and trends.
• Collaborate with colleagues and facilitate seamless communication of financial information to non-financial stakeholders, when necessary.
• Demonstrate a high level of integrity and ethical conduct, understanding the importance of handling sensitive and confidential company information with professionalism.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
You are an energetic, resourceful, and results-focused person who is committed to owning your role and your growth. Your qualifications include:

• Post-secondary diploma or certificate in bookkeeping or accounting.
• 1+ years of bookkeeping experience coupled with strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure.
• Knowledge of relevant software, including QuickBooks.
• An energetic demeanor coupled with an eagerness to learn.
• Exceptional eye for detail that allows you to deliver quality results with accuracy.
• A track record of maintaining strict confidentiality in previous roles or projects that involved handling sensitive information.

NICE-TO-HAVES

• Any relevant experience using accounting software.
