The Assistant Board Administrator performs complex and specialized duties to ensure that the Appellant is eligible to make application to the Licence Suspension Appeal Board (LSAB) and the Medical Review Committee (MRC).

Qualifications:

Experience reviewing documentation and making recommendations to ensure compliance with related policies and procedures Experience providing excellent customer service working with diverse clients including handling inquiries over the phone or in-person Experience working with confidential and sensitive information Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook or compatible programs Excellent verbal communication skills Excellent written communication skills with the ability to review, edit, and format correspondence Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize workloads and effectively manage deadlines Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Superior attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work under pressure in high volume environment Strong political acumen

Desired


Knowledge of the Highway Traffic Act, Criminal Code of Canada, National Safety Code and Canadian Medical Association (CMA) Guidelines Knowledge of driver and vehicle licencing procedures including suspension and/ or cancellation of driver's licences Experience working with boards and / or board governance training

Duties:


The Assistant Board Administrator is responsible for reviews of all incoming packages of material/information from Manitoba Public Insurance, Police Agencies, and Courts in relation to Appeal Files. The incumbent redacts 3rd party information and ensure compliance with Board Policies and Procedures for what information must be obtained and provided to the Licence Suspension Appeal Board or Medical Review Committee.
