QUALIFICATIONS
PhD or other doctorate; consideration may be given to doctoral candidates who will complete their degree by the appointment date or shortly thereafter
Evidence of funding or application for research/project funding
Established program of scholarship/research;
Evidence of dissemination of research and scholarship through peer-reviewed publications and conferences
Holds a minimum of one (1) degree in nursing;
Five (5) years full-time or equivalent hours of nursing experience;
Evidence of continuous learning in the field of expertise;
Experience teaching theory and clinical practice;
Experience with simulation learning environments is an asset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
An understanding of, and experience in, the Canadian healthcare system;
Current BCCNM registration in good standing without limits or conditions, or eligibility for registration with BCCNM before appointment;
Preference will be given to applicants with advanced education or practice in mental health, maternity, or community health.
