Position
The Department of Strategy, Entrepreneurship & Management is accepting applications for a Career status full-time Executive Professor (Academic Teaching Staff position), beginning as soon as possible.
Duties
Reporting to the Chair, the position will include the following responsibilities:

• Provide instruction in undergraduate and/or graduate courses related to family business and entrepreneurship, including but not limited to: Managing Family Enterprise, Strategic Consulting for Family Business, Family Business Governance, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and New Venture Creation.
• Design course syllabi, course materials, prepare exams or evaluations tools and assign grades.
• Prepare for in-person, online, or blended learning as appropriate.
• Evaluate student performance progress and provide appropriate and timely feedback according to department protocols.
• Provide help sessions to undergraduate and graduate students.
• Demonstrate scholarship and remain current and competent in the discipline or profession by keeping class material relevant to the needs of the current student.
• Develop curriculum and material for new courses.
• Facilitate student engagement (e.g., involvement with student clubs; case teams).

Qualifications

• Applicants must have graduate-level training (Master's level or higher) that is relevant to the discipline, ideally combined with professional expertise in the field.
• Professional experience in family business and/or entrepreneurship sector is required.
• Teaching excellence at the post-secondary level is desirable.
• Experience supervising undergraduate and graduate students will be considered an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Facilitation, negotiation and problem-solving skills, and an ability to handle challenging student situations.
