The Antimicrobial Stewardship Program (ASP) is currently seeking part-time administrative support to join their team. Antimicrobial stewardship is the practice of optimizing antimicrobial use to improve patient outcomes and decrease infections with antibiotic resistant bacteria. The program relies on monitoring antibiotic use, costs and rates of infection, as well as tracking outcome data. Reporting to the Medical Director of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program, the Program Assistant will:


Responsibilities:



Provide administrative support to the ASP team including preparing documents, tables, graphs, and data entry. Responsible for accuracy of work to ensure quality in order to meet objectives of program. Responsible for maintaining confidentiality. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:



Post-secondary education required. Two years current administrative experience required. Demonstrated advanced technical skills in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel) and well developed keyboard skills (40 w.p.m. required). Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills and ability to set priorities. Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Demonstrated accurate documentation skills with a high degree of accuracy. Excels in written and verbal communication.
