We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the daily operations of our busy restaurant. Duties
Assist in supervising daily restaurant operations, including staff scheduling and task delegation
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards
Manage POS systems such as Micros POS and handle cash transactions accurately
Support food safety and sanitation protocols in compliance with health regulations
Train, mentor, and evaluate team members, including interviewing and onboarding new staff
Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
Coordinate food handling and kitchen activities to optimize efficiency
Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels
Support restaurant management in implementing policies and procedures for operational excellence
Contribute to creating a welcoming environment that promotes hospitality and teamwork
Skills
Proven experience in food service, restaurant management, or hospitality roles
Strong leadership and team management skills with supervising experience
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS and cash handling procedures
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively
Ability to oversee food handling, serving, and kitchen operations seamlessly
Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training staff members
Familiarity with restaurant industry best practices and hospitality standards
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Previous hotel or barista experience is a plus but not required
