JOB OVERVIEW
Responsibilities:Act as the on-site focal point for CFM56 engines and module repair activity for both FTAI and third-party assets.
Support the Module Repair & Exchange (MRE) program: coordinate inbound modules, manage swaps, track repairs, and support reintegration.
Track and manage all engines/modules across the main facility, external shops, and storage locations; maintain accurate asset trackers (status, location, timelines, milestones).
Work cross-functionally with Engineering (workscopes/inspection findings), Supply Chain (materials), Finance (cost models/forecasting), and Production (status, risks, deliverables).
Monitor WIP and remove blockers to ensure on-time shop visit execution; validate and manage all required documentation.
Present inspection results and recommendations to customers and obtain timely approvals.
Participate in daily production/coordination meetings and communicate shifting priorities.
Lead material review boards and identify cost-effective repair or exchange solutions.
Provide regular internal and customer-facing status updates, track and close action items.
Use ERP systems (Quantum), spreadsheets, and internal tools to manage data accuracy and trigger required actions.
Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics of customer engines, modules, and parts.
Support process improvement initiatives and ad-hoc projects to enhance shop execution and asset value.
Act as a primary communication channel for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:College degree in business, aviation, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years in aviation/MRO operations, customer support, or asset management.
Strong knowledge of CFM56 engines and module-level maintenance preferred.
Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, finance, and production teams.
Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Quantum preferred).
Comfortable with technical/financial documents (quotes, invoices, cost models).
Flexible availability to support after-hours needs; continuous improvement mindset.
Fluent in English and French.
Preferred:Experience in engine asset management or shop visit execution (CFM56 strongly preferred).
Familiarity with engine program commercial/contractual frameworks.
Experience managing customer relationships.
Hands-on experience with Quantum or similar MRO/ERP systems.
