About this opportunity:
We are looking for an Asset Integrity Student for a 12-month term commencing in May 2026. The student would be involved in all aspects of integrity management, including project quality & in-service integrity management.
This position will be based in-person, in our downtown Calgary office.
What you'll be doing:
You will learn about asset integrity within the Oil & Gas industry
You will receive supervision and mentorship from a senior member of the Asset Integrity Team
Specific Job functions will include:
+ Short term project planning to execute near-term completion operations across all assets. This includes ensuring all waterlines and regulatory requirements are in place.
+ Water operations scheduling
+ Cost management per job (completions and re-fill operations
+ AER Inspections Responses
+ Manage Temporary Water Diversion Licences
+ Regulatory Submissions including Directive 059
+ Development of alternative sources
+ Groundwater Exploration for secondary sources to surface water
Who you are:
You are currently enrolled in your 2 nd year of Mechanical Engineering, or relevant program
You are currently enrolled at one of the following post-secondary institutions: SAIT, University of Calgary, Mount Royal University, University of Alberta, or Queens.
You are able to work effectively in a team environment.
You are someone who values feedback as a learning tool.
You are motivated, hard-working and determined to achieve superior results.
You are focused and have a keen attention to detail.
Previous oil and gas experience is not required, however it is considered an asset
To be eligible for a Paramount Resources student position, you must meet the following requirements:
You are currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution
You are available to work the full duration of the work term
You are currently residing in Calgary or willing to relocate for your work term
You are legally entitled to work in Canada, without restriction by way of one of the following:
Canadian Citizenship
Permanent Residency
Valid work permit
