Conterra Industries is a privately owned, design and manufacturing company, and a leading manufacture of Snow Removal Equipment for the Compact Tractor Industry in North America. In addition to the design and manufacturing of Snow Removal Equipment (for John Deere, TORO and Kubtoa) we design and manufacture arena groomers, skid steer and tractor attachments for the equine, construction and farming industries. Conterra designs, develops and manufactures everything from creating hydraulic systems, to the auger on a snow blower. As an Assembly Technician you will play a role in everything from building and installing these hydraulic systems, to assembling motors and pumps, and putting an entire rotary angle broom and snow blower together. You will participate in the testing of all equipment, from speed and temperature of motors and pumps to the correct fit of a part.

What an Assembly Technician does:
Assemble products or components according to specifications
Sand blast and powder coat equipment
Read and interpret engineer drawings and assembly instructions
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to perform assembly tasks
Work with Production to inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
Perform routine maintenance on assembly tools and equipment
Collaborate with team members to improve assembly processes
Ensure a clean and organized work environment
Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
Meet production targets and deadlines
Report any issues or defects to supervisors
OPTIONAL:
Drive Truck with 30Ft Flat Deck Trailer for pick up and delivery of products
Assembly Technician Qualifications & Skills - Conterra is willing to train the right person:
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Familiarity with basic hand and power tools
Good communication and teamwork skills
Problem-solving abilities
Basic computer skills
Ability to stand for long periods, manual dexterity and physical stamina
Basic math skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong work ethic and reliability
Clean Class 5 Drivers License is required. You will be asked for a drivers abstract.
Education / Experience:
Minimum High school diploma or equivalent

Job Type: Full?time / Hourly - hours of operation Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30pm, although some weekends may be required.
