Job Description

Reporting to the Production Manager, Flexxaire is currently recruiting an Assembly Technician to join the capable and growing production team.

Minimum requirements:



High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.

1-2 years of mechanical assembly experience.

Knowledge about appropriate use and care for hand tools, air, and electric torque wrenches.

The following experience is an asset:



Knowledge of Lean and 5S practices.

Advanced knowledge of industry safety practices.

Ability to lift items weighing 50lbs (occasionally up to 75 lbs)

Role Responsibilities:



Read, interpret and follow basic diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble products.

Use equipment & tools correctly & efficiently.

Maintain inventory of product in workstations.

Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.

Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Strive to meet quotas without compromising quality.

Train and mentor other employees within the production team.

Perform other duties as assigned.
