Day Shift Hours:

7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday.

Key Tasks



Assist the Assembly Manager to consistently achieve a higher level of productivity and efficiency in meeting required deadlines. Provide leadership and display ongoing improvement through employment of all procedures and processes. Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with Norquest Industries HSE program. Champion a positive and forward-thinking environment and culture in line with Norquest's company values, policies, and standards. Comply with the organizational chart for procedural on order of command. Supervise and manage a team of assembly workers. Assist to develop and implement assembly processes and procedures. Ensure that production goals are met in a timely and efficient manner. Monitor and manage the use of assembly equipment. Ensure all products are assembled to Norquest's high standards and customer specifications. Provide technical guidance, continual improvement, and training to own staff in conjunction with the Assembly Manager and HR, conduct performance evaluations, wage adjustments, disciplinary actions, and new hire interviews. Timely reporting of all critical issues to the Assembly manager Ensure that labour is accurate, approved overtime, and notify HR daily. Perform other duties advised by manager.

Qualifications



5+ years of experience in assembly operations, with experience in a supervisory role preferred High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred. Basic computer skills; Microsoft office, ERP systems. Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of assembly processes, procedures, and equipment such as pressure testing and torquing machines. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures. Ability to withstand physical demands including standing, bending, and lifting to 50 pounds. Excellent time management skills required. Mechanically inclined.

Pay: $34.00-$40.00 per hour
