The Zamboni Company has maintained a Canadian operation since 1967. You may recognize the city of Brantford, Ontario, as the home of "The Great One," Wayne Gretzky. For many years it has been the Canadian home of the Zamboni ice resurface as well.

The Canadian facility houses 48,000 square feet of Zamboni machine manufacturing and the plant is busy year-round.

Reporting to the Production Manager, this position is required to adhere to company direction to complete the assembly of product. The production environment is a team environment that mandates cooperation and respectfulness from all employees. This role in Assembly will require the ability to pay attention to detail and meet production/shipping schedule needs. The Assembly Mechanic will be responsible for the following activities:

Set up and assembly of product in work area Testing and record keeping of machines completed Body assembly of machines Testing of completed machines Prepping sub assemblies for above operations if required Participating in quality control checks

Requirements:

Good mechanical aptitude and dexterity

Must be a Certified Mechanic and hold class 310S or 310T License

Minimum 3 years assembly experience within a manufacturing or automotive environment Must have excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills High attention to detail is essential with ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment Works well with hand tools, power tools etc. Own or willing to purchase basic mechanics tools Able to follow instructions, both verbal and written Positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Ability to work safely at all times Communicate positively and constructively with all employees, customers, and suppliers Willing to participate in a team environment, contribute to the constant improvement mentality
