The Position

The

Assembler-Inspector

inspects and corrects plastic parts to ensure they meet company and customer standards. They assemble, label, and package the products, following work instructions and performing routine inspection checks. The role requires bending, lifting, repetitive wrist and hand movements, and arm motions. The position involves working independently at workstations or rotating between machines.

No mechanical knowledge is required, as the assembler will not operate, maintain, or adjust machinery.



Salary

Between

$26.60 and $30.00 / hour

(rate includes the prorate of the 3 hour bonus hours per shift + the night shift premium)*
According to candidate's previous work experience

Schedule

Saturday 20:00 - Sunday 08:00 Sunday 20:00 - Monday 08:00 Permanent Possibility of working during the week (not mandatory)

What will your tasks be?

Inspect plastic parts and products for defects and perform necessary corrections such as trimming, cleaning, or using other tools at their disposal to correct quality issues directly on the product. Assemble, label, and package finished products, including box assembly and palletizing, in line with customer specifications. Follow work instructions carefully and perform routine inspection checks regularly. Rotate between workstations and machines to support production flow. Keep up with machine pace and assist colleagues when working on machines running at a slower speed. Maintain a clean and safe workspace and report quality or production issues promptly. Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and continuous improvement processes.

Qualifications

Previous

manufacturing experience

is a strong asset*.

Manual dexterity

and ability to work with hands for prolonged periods. Good attention to detail and visual inspection skills. Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new products, work instructions and stations. Strong organizational skills.

Positive attitude

and the ability to work well with others Punctual and reliable. Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset*.

No mechanical knowledge or experience required!


Physical Requirements:

Ability to

repeatedly lift up to 20 pounds

. Capable of standing and being on your feet for extended periods. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with continuous ambient noise, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), and experiencing higher temperatures during summer months.

Working Conditions:

Manufacturing environment with typical noise levels. Exposure to high heat levels during the summer months.
