Assembler

to join our team in the Fraser Valley.

Responsibilities:

Install of purchased, assembled and preassembled chassis, fenders, fixtures and components of large equipment Assemble product components to maintain published schedule as directed Examine product for proper fit and function Lift/move assemblies & components to and on to the production line Prepare & maintain all associated production documentation Examine work performed in assigned areas Conduct installation inspections Practice safe work procedures at all times; lead by example

Qualifications:

High school or equivalent Previous experience in assembly Knowledge of safe lifting and handling techniques an asset

Skills:

Understand basic layout of patterns, schematics and blueprints Follow oral and written instructions; maintain cooperative working relationships; demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for a diverse population Collaboration and teamwork Critical thinking and decision making are key factors in a successful candidate Air system, chassis, hydraulic, mechanical knowledge Operate general hand & air tools for assembly and installations Operation of hand tools/power tools/ all measurement equipment/basic welding skills Demonstrates both ability and desire to improve process and reduce waste

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.24-$34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
