Job Description

Job Title: Assembler I



This role will be for a 3-month Contract



Job Summary:



Under direct supervision, the Assembler I will be responsible for assembling various Salford products and components according to Standard Operating Procedures. You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure that each product assembled meets the required quality and efficiency Standards.



Responsibility:



Independently assemble and package machines following standard operating procedures (SOPs) to our standard or average allotted times Operate small hand tools, slings, grinders, cutting torch, and other hand tools related to the job's needs. Maintain a clean work area and equipment Ensure equipment and tools are in good working condition, reporting maintenance services when required Safely load and unload parts on and from the main paint line Check Individual output to ensure highest quality Report on issues, malfunction, or defective parts Work in accordance with Health & Safety regulations, Company rules, policies, and procedures Assist other team members and take on other duties as assigned by the lead hand or supervisor Troubleshoot minor hydraulic/ Electrical issues

Academic/Educational Requirements:



High school diploma or equivalent is preferred

Required Skills/Experience:



Experience working with hydraulics, electronic equipment, and other mechanical work is preferred Excellent hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, attention to detail Safe operation of Forklift and overhead Cranes. Experience with hand tools and power tools Ability to lift up to 50lbs with the assistance of a lifting device Ability to troubleshoot and identify mechanical errors Must be organized, proactive, and maintain a positive attitude in the workplace Ability to operate forklift and overhead crane (training will be provided) Ability to work independently and in a team setting Strong interpersonal and communication skills
