Position Title: Assembler
Department: Production
Location: Nobleford, AB, Canada
About AGI
AGI is a global company publicly traded in Canada, and we are expanding! We currently have over 100 employees operating out of 200,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Nobleford, Alberta (approx. 20 mins north of Lethbridge) and will be adding multiple positions as part of our expansion. We manufacture Westeel petroleum storage tanks and are Canadaxe2x80x99s largest manufacturer of grain aeration and natural air grain drying equipment.
The Opportunity
In this role you will follow proper process and procedures to specification outlined for each specific order.
The Team
You will work both independently and as a team member to assemble products according to specifications and drawings by using various hand tools. This position will report directly to the Production Supervisor.
Responsibilities

• Assemble materials using hand and power tools
• Propose potential quality or productivity enhancements
• Review of finish parts to ensure accuracy against drawings
• Read and understand blueprints, specifications and drawings
• Working safely and efficiently, following safety rules and standard operating procedures
• Communicate with maintenance or engineering personnel regarding setup of equipment and technical issues.
• Complete all other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Proven ability to work safely
• Stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Team orientated, flexible attitude and a willingness to perform a variety of tasks
• Basic mathematics (addition, subtraction)
• Complete repetitive tasks
• Work in fast paced department
• Completion of grade 12 or GED
• Exemplary attendance record
• Production experience an asset
