About the role
The Assembler is part of a team, responsible for building RAM's products from start to finish. This individual must work well with a team and independently with minimal supervision as required to ensure a high level of efficiency. The Assembler's attention to detail, mechanical skills and level of diligence will contribute to producing high quality lifts for RAM clients.
Responsibilities
Assemble lift/elevator components and systems according to engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
Electrical wiring
Test lifts to ensure proper functionality, safety, and compliance with regulations.
Identify and report any defects, malfunctions, or deviations from specifications.
Use hand tools, power tools, or precision instruments to test equipment.
Perform safe work practices
Maintain cleanliness in work area and adhere to health and safety standards
Taking direction from Team Lead as requested
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Electrical knowledge is strongly preferred
Previous experience working on in assembly / manufacturing is strongly preferred
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Must be able to lift 50-60lbs multiple times daily and stand for long periods of time
Familiarity in using measuring tape, drills, impact guns, and other hand tools
Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Highly motivated, hard-working individual who thrives in a fast paced, deadline-based environment.
Punctuality and good attendance is a must
Proficiency in spoken and written English is required
