Assemblers

are responsible for installation of components, assemblies and sub-assemblies, and entry level mechanical or fabrication tasks as they apply to production or repairs of product. Successful candidates adapt to an always changing, fast paced environment, and work well in a team setting while maintaining a positive attitude.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists in the installation of purchased, assembled and pre-assembled components Examines product for proper fit and function Lift/moves assemblies to and on to the production line Uses hand tools, power tools and measuring devices Assembles product components to maintain published schedule as directed Prepares and maintains all associated production and quality documentation Practices safe work procedures at all times Contributes to the maintenance of a clean and healthy work environment Attend training, production and safety meetings as required

QUALIFICATIONS

Vocational training (an asset) Experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment Competent in the use of hand, air and power tools Possesses a basic mechanical knowledge Able to work well in both independent and team environments Follows oral and written instructions. Maintains cooperative working relationships. Able to read and interpret drawings and specifications - manual or process Displays effective time management skills Able to lift 50 lbs

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
