Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assembly Mechanic to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling components and products with precision, ensuring quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with hand and power tools, and familiarity with warehouse or manufacturing environments. This position offers an opportunity to develop technical skills within a dynamic production setting.

Responsibilities

Assemble products and components according to detailed specifications and work instructions Use hand tools, power tools, and other assembly equipment to complete tasks efficiently Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed (training provided) Conduct quality checks during assembly to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines Follow safety procedures and report any safety concerns immediately

Skills

Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings or schematics Experience with assembly processes in manufacturing or warehouse settings Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively and safely Familiarity with forklift operation (preferred) but not required, training available Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Prior warehouse experience is a plus but not mandatory

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 80 per week
