Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Asphalt Rakerman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in asphalt raking and a strong understanding of paving processes. As an Asphalt Rakerman, you will play a crucial role in the construction and maintenance of asphalt surfaces, ensuring quality and durability in every project.

Duties

• Operate heavy machinery and equipment used in asphalt paving and maintenance.
• Prepare and lay asphalt materials to create smooth, durable surfaces.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
• Monitor the quality of materials and work performed, making adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections and minor repairs as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

Requirements

• Proven experience in asphalt raking.
• Knowledge of paving techniques and best practices for asphalt application.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical labor as required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively on the job site.
• A valid driver's license

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 70 per week

Additional pay:

• Overtime pay

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
