Reporting to the Foreman, the Asphalt Plant Operator is responsible for overseeing daily operations of asphalt production. This role includes monitoring and operating plant equipment, during production, Key responsibilities include operating machinery, troubleshooting equipment, performing maintenance and repairs, loading materials into trucks.

How You'll Add Value

Actively contribute to the safety culture, promoting a safe and productive work environment Experience in operating Astec drum mix asphalt plants or similar Experience in calibrating cold feed bins, Belt scales, Oil metering pumps Experience in performing all aspects of plant maintenance Experience maintaining hot oil heaters Experience in unloading hot asphalt products Experience operating load out scale is beneficial Strong electrical and mechanical trouble shooting ability Ability to work from heights Strong work ethics and leadership skills

What You Bring

3+ years of experience working at an asphalt plant, including 1+ years' operating relative equipment Experience in operating a skid steer and rubber tire loader is required Able to commute to and from the plant

Note:

Plant locations are not easily accessible by public transportation Basic computer skills required
