Typical paving season operates from May to November each year but may vary depending on work commitments. Asphalt Experience is an asset but not necessarily required with the right attitude towards learning the position and work ethic. Position \xe2\x80\x93 Asphalt Finish Roller Operator: Operating various asphalt rollers, loading and unloading equipment, application of tack coat and other activities as directed by the foreman. Position \xe2\x80\x93 Asphalt Screed Operator: Duties will primarily involve shoveling asphalt, raking asphalt, use of small mechanical plate tampers and hand tampers, loading and unloading equipment, application of tack coat and other activities as directed by the foreman. Position \xe2\x80\x93 Asphalt Raker: Duties will primarily involve shoveling asphalt, raking asphalt, use of small mechanical plate tampers and hand tampers, loading and unloading tools, application of tack coat and other activities as directed by the foreman.
