Asphalt Paving Crew/ Van Driver

Job Description
- Operate the van to the project site to load and offload tools for the day.
- Maintain cleanliness and ensure tools are ready to use for each job.
- Operate paving equipment such as compactors and saw cutters.
- Sweep and cleaning the area before and after work is being done.
- Measure and lining out the area for the day's paving.
- Transport water to the rollers, power broom, and plate compactor.
- Assist the rest of the crew such as shovelling and wheelbarrowing materials.
- Previous experience as an Asphalt Labourer is an asset.
- Knowledge of road and traffic regulations.
- Work as part of a team.
- Able to work on weekends, public holidays, and at night.
- Excellent communication and observation skills.
- Class 5 license required for cube van operator.
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Weekend availability
- Surrey, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
- Driving Licence (required)
