Position Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced

Finish Raker

to join our paving crew. This is a key role on the team responsible for achieving a smooth, consistent surface finish on asphalt paving projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Use asphalt rake to level and smooth freshly laid asphalt Assist with handwork around curbs, catch basins, and tight areas Work closely with the paver operator and roller operator to maintain consistent grade and quality Monitor and adjust thickness, pitch, and transitions for a professional finish Follow direction from site foreman and ensure safety and quality standards are met Assist with site prep, cleanup, and other labour tasks as required

Qualifications:

2+ years of asphalt raking experience required Strong understanding of asphalt grades, materials, and finishing techniques Ability to work long hours in a physically demanding outdoor environment Excellent teamwork and communication skills Valid driver's license (G required, DZ/AZ an asset) Safety-focused and reliable
