Reporting to manager, the regional Marketing Representative - Asian Market
plays a pivotal role in expanding the institution's global footprint. This dynamic position
is responsible for fostering and managing relationships with education agencies locally
and across Asia, driving student recruitment, and ensuring the success of international
marketing initiatives. The International Recruitment and Marketing Coordinator will
collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver high-quality services and contribute to
the growth and diversity of the international student body.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and new education
agencies locally and in key international markets, especially Asia.
Proactively seek out and sign up new agencies, both locally and across Asia, to expand our recruitment network.
Manage agency agreements, ensuring timely renewals and updates, and maintaining an accurate and up-to-date agency database.
Drive the recruitment process for international students, ensuring a diverse and balanced student mix across all courses.
Provide expert counseling services to prospective and current international students as needed, guiding them through the enrollment process and addressing any concerns.
Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies tailored to international audiences, working closely with managers and team members.
Assist in the creation and execution of social media campaigns and promotional materials that resonate with our global audience.
Prepare and deliver weekly marketing reports, detailing agent visits, new sign-ups, student enrollment statistics, and other key metrics.
Plan, coordinate, and execute events, expos, and trade shows aimed at promoting our institution and attracting international students.
Monitor the quality of training sessions and the enrolment process, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.
Oversee the general accounts management related to recruitment activities, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of expenses.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless operations and the successful implementation of marketing and recruitment initiatives.
Help maintain platforms related to agent management and student recruitment, including Edvisor and Campus Login.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
Fluency in Korean, both spoken and written.
A bachelor's degree in international relations, Marketing, Business
Administration, Education, or a related field would be preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in international student recruitment, marketing, and event coordination and management.
Strong understanding of global education markets, particularly in Asia.
Extensive knowledge of and experience with relationship management.
Proven ability to meet sales targets.
Knowledge of the Canadian post-secondary education system.
Impeccable attention to detail

Ability to be productive while working independently
ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:
Fluency in other languages in the Asian market, such as Japanese and Chinese, will be an asset.
