Job Summary
An experienced abatement manager is dependable, professional, hands on and committed. They have completed work that is more complex than normal jobs and have honed their customer service to an excellent level, with extensive knowledge and experience with abatements. An experienced manager is expected to meet with their team to ensure the efficiency, growth, and personal experience of each team member under their care. Above all, they are responsible for maintaining and directing a safe and efficient work site.

Job Requirements

3 - 5 years experience as an abatement supervisor. Asbestos Certification Level 1, 2, 3 and S Class 5 driver's license Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills including conflict resolution abilities Great time management and organizational abilities Ability to work well under pressure Ability to problem solve Ability to motivate, encourage and build teams Demonstrate support for innovation, and departmental change Possess leadership qualities and willing to further develop leadership competencies Participate in the On-Call rotation
Job Accountabilities

Providing up to date communication and photographs to Managers and their teams regarding the status of the work being performed. Completing related tasks by performing all technical duties required, such as general demolition, asbestos, lead and mould remediation, and building containments. Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures set out by the company's health and safety program. Maintaining a neat and orderly company vehicle if assigned. Working collaboratively with demolition, construction, carpentry, and content teams. Communicating with customers, co-workers, and project managers. Ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed in detail. Completing timecard daily
Experience in Emergency Fire and Flood Restoration is an asset!*

Compensation and Work Environment

Wage: based on experience Benefits: An extensive benefits plan that includes extended health, dental, GRSP, and LTD, plus a health care spending account. Available after the employee completes their probationary period three (3) months after their start date.
