About the Role:

A career as a senior AS400/I-series developer means acting as an AS400 development specialist and playing a crucial role in the management and development of computer systems. It means being responsible for the management, development, security, and maintenance of application on AS400 systems, while closely collaborating with other teams to meet client needs and improve operational processes. This job allows you to have a positive impact on our organization, thanks to your expertise in AS400/I-series.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with our product team to bring customer requirements to life Collaborate with other team members to quickly deliver solutions that translate business needs into technical outcomes Constantly challenge the status quo and uncover defects and deficiencies Find ways to improve operational delivery

Qualifications:

Minimum of 7 years of experience on AS400 Applied experience with one of the following technologies/languages: RPG/LE, COBOL/400, SQL, Query/400, QM Query, ASC Sequel, CLP/CLLE, MQ, Data queue, JIRA, Service Now, SFTP, IFS, DB2/400,TAATOOL ,RDI and Arcad. Experience with the Waterfall/Agile/Scrum approach and knowledge of JIRA Ability to solve problems independently and creatively Experience in problem analysis, data mapping, use case modeling, and documentation Commitment to deliver quality customer service and products.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $65.00-$90.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
