Job Description

We are looking for an outgoing, charismatic person to host Paint Nite events and give clear step-by-step instructions to guests on painting an artwork at various venues in Metro Vancouver area and provide consistently exceptional experiences to our customers. This is the right job for someone who takes pride in their work and is passionate about art!

The Host is the person who leads our Paint Nite creative experiences and consistently "wow" guests across Vancouver! This role goes beyond teaching - it requires the perfect combination of performance and creativity coloured by your own authentic style. As a Host you are an extension of our brand; it is your responsibility to lead the party where people come together to escape the expected and share in fun, creative experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Be the host of both public and private Paint Nite events Clearly and concisely articulate instructions to a crowd of about 30+ adults so they can leave with a finished product that they're proud of in ~2 hours. Manage the flow of the experience while providing individual support to guests as needed Be responsible for delivering supplies to/from events and maintaining a kit of supplies in good order Setting up, running, and cleaning up events on weekend (2-6 pm or 3-7pm) and/or weekdays (6-10 pm).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Must have experience in painting with acrylic (formal education in Fine Arts is not required)

Must own a car and have a valid driver's license

Must be 19+ in order to host events at bars and pubs Must be comfortable on stage and have stage presence in front of a crowd of 30 people Must own a camera or smartphone that takes good quality photos Must be 100% reliable Must not be afraid of heavy lifting Must have a fun, confident personality! (Calling all "social butterflies")
