From the beginning of your adventure with us, you will be tasked with:

• Working in collaboration with the production team and the lead artist
• Creating high-quality scenery, environments and modular kits (organic, mechanical, architectural)
• Using in-house tools and adapting your work methods accordingly, while relaying suggestions, issues, and comments to the relevant parties
• Following outlined artistic directives, design intent and technical limitations
• Exhibiting organization and attention to detail in your work
• Taking responsibility for assigned tasks and for overseeing the project
• Using all available communication channels to efficiently share questions, comments and updates with the relevant colleagues and team leads
• Work creatively and independently to create high quality scenes and levels with direction from the Art Lead and Art Director.
• Help supervise and mentor 3D junior artists.

Qualifications

Exp\xc3\xa9rience et comp\xc3\xa9tences recherch\xc3\xa9es :

• D\xc3\xa9tenir au minimum 4 ans d\'exp\xc3\xa9rience en tant qu\'artiste 3D
• Int\xc3\xa9r\xc3\xaat envers les jeux vid\xc3\xa9o, plus sp\xc3\xa9cifiquement les jeux d\'action, platformers, etc...
• Ma\xc3\xaetrise des workflows traditionnels de mod\xc3\xa9lisation 3D (3ds Max ou Maya), pour la cr\xc3\xa9ation d\'assets
• Ma\xc3\xaetrise des outils de production additionnels suivants : ZBrush, Substance Painter, Photoshop
• Int\xc3\xa9r\xc3\xaat et exp\xc3\xa9rience pour les workflows proc\xc3\xa9duraux et non destructifs, par exemple l\'utilisation d\'Houdini et Substance Designer
• Notions solides en \xc3\xa9clairage, shading et techniques de baking
• Solides bases artistiques (compr\xc3\xa9hension de la couleur, composition et \xc3\xa9clairage)
• Exp\xc3\xa9rience en production d\'environnements en temps r\xc3\xa9el et modulaires et ma\xc3\xaetrise d\'un ou plusieurs frameworks de production tels que Unity ou Unreal
• Bonne culture visuelle dans diff\xc3\xa9rents domaines (architecture, design, cin\xc3\xa9ma, BD, jeux, etc.)
• Ouvert, motiv\xc3\xa9, curieux et autocritique
• Organis\xc3\xa9, efficace et autonome

Experience and Qualifications:

• At least 4 years of experience as a 3D artist
• Interest in video games; more specifically action games, platformers, etc.
• Mastery of traditional 3D modeling workflows (3ds Max or Maya) for the creation of assets
• Mastery of the following additional production tools: ZBrush, Substance Painter, Photoshop
• Interest in, and experience with, procedural and non-destructive workflows, e.g. using Houdini and Substance Designer
• Strong knowledge of lighting, shading and baking techniques
• Strong artistic foundation (understanding of colour, composition and lighting)
• Experience with real-time modular production environments and mastery of one or more production frameworks, such as Unity or Unreal
• Strong knowledge of various visual domains (architecture, design, film, comics, games, etc.)
• Open, motivated, curious and self-critical
• Organized, efficient and independent
