Job Description

We are looking for an Artificial Intelligence Engineer who will be responsible for developing the AI platform features used by our customers to reimagine how they manage cyber risk by improving their efficiency, finding new insights, and making their jobs more enjoyable. You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI and machine learning solutions that drive our platform. As a senior member of the team, you will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help shape the future of AI in vulnerability management for our industry.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Participate in the design of AI-enabled software products that meet our current requirements and are able to evolve as new requirements become known Provide technical leadership in the implementation of robust AI/ML models for real-world applications (e.g., NLP, CV, recommendation systems, predictive analytics) Own model lifecycle management including training, tuning, deployment, monitoring, and retraining to ensure customers receive the most relevant feedback from our AI capabilities Partner with software engineers to integrate AI models into the platform Demonstrate leadership in support of quality initiatives that achieve the expectations of prospects and maintain high renewal rates Champion processes that support team-led work planning, value delivery, and predictable execution Participate in planning sessions that ensure quality objectives are well understood so that standards and metrics can be established Optimize models for performance, cost-efficiency, and maintainability to deliver predictable operational support for both internal and external consumers of our technologies Assist in building a highly capable team based on great talent identification and recruiting Help ensure that the engineering team is happy, prolific, and autonomous Maximize the productivity of our technologies by assisting in the development of technical documentation Stay current on AI research, frameworks, and industry trends; evaluate and incorporate new tools as appropriate
WHAT YOU'LL NEED

5+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML engineering, with demonstrated success in shipping ML-powered products 3+ years experience in Java Proficiency in Python or TypeScript and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX, LlamaIndex, Ollama, or LangChain Strong understanding of software engineering principles (version control, CI/CD, APIs, containerization) Experience deploying models in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) Experience working with Qdrant or other vector DB Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker) Proven track record of deploying machine learning models to production Experience in technical team leadership Excellent verbal and written communication skills BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, or Electrical Engineering is preferred
AND IDEALLY

Experience with LLMs, generative AI, or RLHF Experience with Vertex AI Background in enterprise SaaS and cybersecurity Open-source contributions or published research in AI/ML Experience developing cybersecurity or IT systems management applications PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline

Pay: $80,000.00-$95,000.00 per year

Work Location: Remote
