Position Responsibilities
The School of Trades and Technology is seeking a
Sessional
Instructor
to teach in the
Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics
diploma. The successful candidate will be expected to take a leadership role as we expand our course and program offerings in Computer Science and Information Technology.
Responsibilities of Full-Time Faculty at the School of Trades and Technology include (but are not limited to):Delivering courses congruent with established course curricula and program outcomes Supporting the success of students with diverse cultural and educational backgrounds and learning styles
Assessing student learning in ways that both facilitate learning and ensure achievement against appropriate academic standards
Inspiring students by exhibiting enthusiasm for teaching, learning, and subject material
Contributing to course and program curriculum development and renewal
Engaging in scholarly activity within the domains of Ernest Boyer's model: scholarship of discovery, application, integration, and teaching
Working collegially within department, School, or Institution committees and project teams

Required Qualifications
Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related discipline
orB.Sc in a related discipline with a minimum 5 years' post-Bachelor related work experience
Note that alternate combinations of related education, certification, and work experience will be considered
Preferred Qualifications
